What flavors of TummyTickler® is available?

TummyTickler® is currently available in Apple Juice flavor. TummyTickler® Apple Juice is 100% apple juice.

Drinking one TummyTickler® is equal to eating how much fruit?

Each TummyTickler® 6-ounce bottle of TummyTickler® fruit juice is equivalent to 3/4 cup of fruit.

I can’t find a particular character, how do I go about getting it?

Due to the way TummyTickler® is distributed, we cannot always control the selection of character toppers offered at the store level. However, our character assortment changes regularly, and we continuously add new topper characters and poses, giving you the opportunity to choose from a rotating selection.

Are the TummyTickler® bottles and toppers reusable?
Yes! The bottles and the toppers are washable and can be re-used again and again.

How do I clean my TummyTickler Top?

Use a turkey baster to force warm soapy water through the spout and then clean the spout through the top hole with a small baby bottle brush before placing it on the top rack of your dishwasher. If you do not have a turkey baster, rinse the top, running water through the spout, then place it in the top rack of the dishwasher. Let top dry completely before storing, especially if the environment you keep your tops in is concealed or humid.

Make sure that the top dries thoroughly and always look inside the hole and inspect the spout for discoloration before giving it to your child. Like all sippy cup seals, it’s longevity depends on cleaning care, frequency of usage and storage conditions. Humid environments where the seal cannot completely dry are more conducive to mold and mildew, so take care when storing and frequently inspect the seal in the top.

Finally, clean as soon as possible after use to ensure safe cleaning. If you think the top has been sitting around for a few days with juice in the bottle, it is best to throw it out.

My TummyTickler smells like alcohol/ tastes bad/has mold, what is going on? How did this happen?
Spoilage, such as fermentation or mold, rarely occurs with our product, but as with any food or beverage that is all natural and preservative free, there is a small chance that spoilage could occur, especially if the product is damaged or tampered with in the supply chain or on the store shelf. For this reason, we recommend discarding leaking or damaged packages, and we have included this statement on our product for our consumers.

We encourage you to inspect the product for damage, leaks, or spoilage before giving it to your child, as you would any other natural product (like fruit or bread) and discard it if it appears to be spoiled or damaged. As alarming as it may be, product that has fermented or contains mold actually poses no risk of harm or danger to you or your child. Most of us are parents here, too and we understand your concern in wanting the best product for your child! We suggest you check with your local TummyTickler® retailers (for “retailers,” link to the store locator page of the website). Sorry, but we are not currently set up to sell directly to consumers.

Do I need to refrigerate TummyTickler®?

TummyTickler® is ready-to-drink at room temperature or can be served chilled. Of course, the juice should be refrigerated after opening (after the foil seal under the character topper has been removed).

What is the shelf-life for TummyTickler®?

For the best quality, including nutritional value, flavor and color, it is recommended the product be used by the “best by” date stamped on the package which is located on the bottom third of the label. TummyTickler® shelf life is one year/365 days from the date of production.

Where is the expiration date on the TummyTickler® label?

The expiration date can be found stamped on the bottom third of the label in black text; it is listed as a ‘Best by’ date, which means for the best quality, including nutritional value, flavor and color, it is best to use the product by the date stamped on the package.

My TummyTickler® says “spill-proof.” Is it really?

Yes! The TummyTickler® valve is designed to be spill-proof, meaning the product should only flow when the valve is activated by a child drawing the liquid from the spout using his or her mouth.

The TummyTickler® package says “No Sugar Added” so why is sugar listed in the Nutrition Facts?

Sugar is not added to our 100% fruit juice products. The sugar listed in the nutritional information is the naturally occurring sugar from the fruit. You will never find sucrose, cane sugar, maltose, dextrose, glucose, or high fructose corn syrup in our TummyTickler® products.

Does TummyTickler® contain allergens?

We continually implement rigid quality standards and manufacturing processes to avoid potential cross contamination with products containing any of the eight major allergens (milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat and soybeans), as identified by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Does TummyTickler® contain synthetic dyes or artificial colors?

Not a chance. TummyTickler® does not contain any synthetic dyes or artificial colors. All the color of TummyTickler® comes from natural sources.

Is the TummyTickler® juice pasteurized?

Yes, TummyTickler® juice is pasteurized. We are committed to making wholesome products that are both healthy and safe for your family.

Is TummyTickler® “kosher”?

No, TummyTickler® is not kosher.

Is TummyTickler® gluten-free?

Yep. TummyTickler® does not contain gluten (the protein that appears in foods processed from wheat, rye and barley).

Is TummyTickler® BPA-free?

You better believe it. TummyTickler® bottles and toppers do not contain BPA.
